Hello and welcome to the blog today! Shelly with you sharing fun Piñata themed table / party decor.
We recently had a product swap between ScraPerfect
and Lawn Fawn - - I literally squealed with excitement - Lawn Fawn
has such a great products and ScraPerfect products are the perfect
compliment.
Today I am showing you how to create table buffet cards and embellished
straws for a fiesta or Cinco de Mayo themed celebration.
With most Lawn Fawn dies, it is suggested that you
snip the different dies apart. However,
since I knew I would always be using the piñata and confetti/candy dies
together, I opted to leave them as one piece so nothing could be lost.
- I began this project by die cutting about 15 sets of LawnFawn Year Seven dies from white textured cardstock
- Pat your die cut pieces with the perfect crafting pouch to insure crisp stamped images
- Using black ink, stamp the shapes with the Lawn Fawn Year Seven Stamps (to "prime" my stamps, I first stamped with a Versa Mark ink pad)
Embellish die cuts with Transfer Foils:
- Apply Best Glue Ever using the no clog writing tip (this tip is A MUST for working with small items!)to area of die cut you want to add the foil detail, set aside until glue is tacky. Place Transfer Foil over top of tacky glue and rub with your finger or bone folder.
- Cut white cardstock to 5 1/2 x 4"
- Fold in half, use bone folder to make fold sharp
- Cut Perfectly Plaid paper to 3 3/4 x 2 1/2" - ink edges and glue to tent card using Best Glue Ever
- Using stamps, your printer or your own handwriting on white cardstock, create the words you want on your table cards, then cut into strips (3/4 x 4") and cut or punch a banner detail
Embellished straws:
Attached Transfer Foil embellished Year Seven Pinata Die Cut to striped paper straw about 2 1/2" from top of straw using Best Glue Ever
There are so many ways to use the Seven Year Stamp and Die Set & ScraPerfect products for party table settings -- I hope this project got your creativity flowing!
Thanks for stopping by today - have a creative week!

hi Shelly! this is so cute! Great idea!
Have a great day! Ginny
These are so stinkin' cute!!!!
PS Do you know about DIY "Penny's Pop-ups?' Jut snip scrap corrugated cardboard chipboard (depending upon the thickness you want) to ANY size and shape and apply to your embellishment and project with the Best Glue Ever. We all know how quick BGE dries, and how strong it holds--so now we can make perfectly sized/shaped/thickness, super-strong pop-ups from recycled materials for free!
(PS And if you're "stuck on foam", using craft fun foam is also an option.)
So festive! Love them!
So stinkin cute Shelly!
These are just too cute!
These table decorations are the BOMB!
