To assemble this card, I cut out the layers of card stock for the background and then used my die cut machine to cut out 2 of the proposing couple images. The pink image was slightly larger than the black and they were placed in top of each other to provide dimension. I swiped around the edges of the card with a pink ink pad next. I used the Best Glue Ever on this project because not only is THE best adhesive for paper crafters, but it truly is the "quick stick" for paper and embellishments and saves time. After putting the basic card together, I added a pearl dot trim from my stash and secured it with the Best Glue Ever. Then, I started adding details to my card.
I wanted to add a little bling, so I used rhinestone gems to the Bride's hand and hair bow that I precisely placed with Embellie Gellie and secured them firmly with only tiny dots of the Best Glue Ever. It works great for tiny embellishments since you only need a minimal amount and it doesn't bleed out from under them.
Finally, I stamped the salutation to the bottom of the card with pink ink. I layered colored card stock and used foam tape for dimension to make this stand out. Here is another look at my finished proposal card, I hope you like it!
